Well, a story gave me a hint for how to handle.

寒山问拾得：“世人有人谤我、欺我、辱我、笑我、轻我、贱我，我当如何处之？” 拾得曰：“只要忍他、让他、避他、由他、耐他，不要理他，再过几年，你且看他”。

Lesson: Endure, Let, Avoid, Ignore, Patience, Disregard. Hand of time will judge and pay him the same thing.

(something extra infomations for this story: 寒山、拾得皆为唐朝贞观年间人，是僧人，二人佛法高妙，更兼诗才横溢，佛门弟子认为他们分别是文殊、普贤菩萨转世。而且，寒山、拾得二人踪迹怪异，其典型形象总是满面春风，拍掌而笑，民间奉为“和合二仙”。旧时婚礼上，喜堂高挂二仙神像，寓意和气好合。乾隆的父亲雍正皇帝敕封寒山为“和圣”，拾得为“合圣”。)
